Storyland History book coverThe historical society recently featured a book signing with local author Jim MillerJim Miller and Norman Head on the history of Story Land, started in 1954 by Bob & Ruth Morrell. The highlight of the evening was a 1956 radio recording done on a walk through the very small, but quaint, StoryLand, followed by various tales from past and present employees, visitors and Miriam Owen,Miriam Owen  Bob Morrell’s sister. Bartlett Historical Directors on Freddy the Fire TruckThe evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The historical society would like to extend its thanks to all the attendees, author Jim Miller, Story Land Asst.
